The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra is Central Florida’s resident professional orchestra, appearing in more than 125 performances and serving over 180,000 people in Central Florida each season. The Philharmonic’s education programs are designed to provide music for every stage of life.

Program Description

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra’s Symphony Storytime Series brings favorite childhood stories to live with live music, narration, and beautiful hand-drawn illustration. In-school presentations are 30 minutes in length, and include two back-to-back presentations.

Performances are available select months during the year.

Please note: Back-to-back presentations run about 75 minutes in total (including moving students). The times above reflect suggested windows in which you can schedule your presentations; time frames are negotiable.

Space / technical requirements:

Microphone and projector screen (Smart Board is fine).

Ability for musicians and production to set up room 10-15 minutes prior to student arrival.

OPO can furnish piano/keyboard, but performance space must have manageable access points, including ramps etc. to utilize OPO piano.

In-school (recommended for cafetorium or auditorium space)

$2,400/day (includes two back-to-back performances)

Cancellation Policy

Schools must provide at least 45 days notice for any delays or cancellations, including time changes or date shifts. The OPO will reschedule if provided the 45 day lead time, based on the availability of artists.
