In-school Program: Where's the Orange in Orange County?
At one time, Central Florida was mostly rural farmland. Using a graph that charts the number of acres of citrus groves located in Orange County in each decade of the 20th century, this in-class presentation explains how transportation advances, historic events, technological advances, product development, weather, and population growth affected the citrus industry and eventually transformed...
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays throughout the school year.
Projection screen (or blank wall); video projector (if available; if not, we will bring one).
The presentation can take place in a classroom or auditorium.
$75 first presentation; $50 for each additional presentation on the same day. Max # of presentations per day: 5
