Voci Dance

Performance offerings include “Fairy Frolic” in which students meet magical fairies, “Color Dance” in which dancers go on a color mixing journey and “STRETCH,” in which children follow animals and dancers on a stretching adventure. All performances begin with a lecture demonstration of various dance styles, so that students can compare and contrast to understand modern dance more clearly. Students are invited to engage in basic movements from their seats. A full performance based on a story follows the lecture demonstration portion of the program and a question and answer period wraps up the program. Site-specific performances geared to the school environment (playgrounds, classrooms, gardens, unique spaces) are also available upon request.

Two grade levels per performance.
