Fundamentals of Acting

Program Description

Learn the basics of stage acting through the use of improvisational games, role-playing, and script readings. You will learn how to expand your imagination to inhabit characters and play with their fellow actors and the audience. This class is wonderful for those who have little to no experience on stage and wish to feel more comfortable speaking in front of an audience.

All CFCArts programming operates on a $90 per hour model, which includes but is not limited to teacher compensation, materials, and administration costs.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

    • Communicate all changes that impact the class schedule and location no less than 24 hours in advance of scheduled time.
    • All cancellation or reschedules that occur within 24 hours of the scheduled class time are subject to payment.

  • If in an unforeseen circumstance, which leads to CFCArts cancelling the scheduled arts experience within 24 hours of the event, no payment will be billed until the rescheduled event is provided.

  • For programs that are funded in full or part by CFCArts:

    • If three or more cancellations occur within 24 hours, within the course of the semester a Partnership meeting will be requested and this contract will be subject to termination.
