2nd Grade Arts Experience Field Trip

An exciting opportunity for 2nd Graders in Osceola County Schools! Each elementary school in Osceola County, will be provided a field trip to Osceola Arts to experience a “behind the scenes” tour of what goes on at a community arts center. In merely an hour the students will perform a production, be an audience member, and visit an art gallery filled with local artists. The short play entitled Morning at the Art Museum has the students in every aspect of a theatre production. From lights and sound to acting and costuming, the students do it all with the guidance of a highly trained staff. Experiencing and having the opportunity to appreciate art is the goal of this program for the show itself even teaches about famous works of art.

The staff at Osceola Arts has worked collaboratively with the school district to provide an experience that is hands-on and standards-based as well as expose the students to arts related careers.

ALL COSTS for this trip are being paid for by Osceola Arts!

**NOTE: Osceola Arts will cover the costs of the field trip for Osceola County Schools. Private schools and public schools outside of Osceola County can purchase this program at a cost of $5 per student.**
