The Orlando Philharmonic Young People’s Concert is an exciting 45 minute, full orchestra concert that also features ballet, opera, and even the chance to sing along!
The Young People’s Concerts provides a cross-section of orchestral music, featuring works from a variety of time periods, geographical areas, and backgrounds. Students learn historical context for well-known musical works while also experiencing live orchestral music. Additionally, the Young People’s Concerts feature extensive collaboration, with dancers from the Orlando Ballet, local opera singers, actors from the Orlando Repertory Theatre, and stunning visual art, some of which is created by local artists.
All attendees receive a comprehensive guidebook with lessons created by Orange and Osceola county general music teachers.
