In-School Program: Didgeridoo Down Under (Grades K–12)
Didgeridoo Down Under is one of the most popular “edu-tainment” programs in the United States. The didgeridoo, usually a hollowed-out tree trunk, has been played by Aboriginal Australians for at least 1,500 years, and is featured throughout the program. But DDU is much more than music. It’s a combination of cultural arts, cross-curriculum, character education and audience participation… interactive, educational, motivational and highly entertaining!
